Vega Filmklubb is a film society showing cult films and overlooked gems at Vega Scene Cinema in Oslo.
A film society is non profit and run by volunteers.
The identity is based on the existing identity of Vega Scene.
Each film is given an illustrated look with a bold and limited color pallate. Some films are given unique illustrations, while others have half tone-effects applied in the old school poster fashion.

The first screening was of Donnie Darko. I created an illustration and lettering worthy of a cult classic. Since the movie takes place in the 80's I was inspired by movie posters from that era.
